First Plane Ride
My youngest son turned four this week. For the better part of a year he has been asking to go flying, and today was the day. I was flying with a friend in his club's 172 from Chesterfield to Franklin Virginia, a 30 minute flight.
Who knows how a young child will behave in an airplane. Will he be afraid? Cry the whole way? Get sick?
None of those things for Colin as it turned out. He rode the whole way with a big smile on this little face sandwiched between two enormous headphones. At the end of the day I don't know who was happier, Colin or his daddy.
