Excel-Jet, Sport-Jet

The Sport-jet is a homebuilt 4 person single engine jet designed to operate below RVSM required airspace (28,000ft) yet cruise at 380 knots. This aircraft has a very large cabin with excellent visibility and large side windows adding to passenger comfort. Baggage space is located behind the rear seats as well as in the nose providing ample room for cargo. There is an incredible amount of leg room and head room for both the front and back seats which can easily accommodate pilots or passengers as tall as 6ft 6in comfortably.
Flight characteristics are excellent with perfect flight control harmony. Take off distances of less than 2,500ft and landing in 1,800ft.The Sport-Jet boasts 1000 mile range and 800 lbs of payload with full fuel. Climb performance in excess of 2,000 ft per minute and stall speeds coming in around 70 knots. With virtually no pitch change when the gear or flaps are extended or retracted this aircraft is amazingly stable and responsive.
